FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: Wiring Bumper Guides
Here is a simple step-by-step instructions for wiring Bores guides to take advantage of the combination marker light/turn-signal feature.

For this example we are using a 2002 Chevrolet Suburban

#1: Locate the combination "marker light/turn signal" light. This light assembly should have (3) wires connected to it.

#2 Using a test light find the: "marker light" wire, "turn-signal" wire and "ground" wire.

#3 Connect one Guide wire to the marker light wire and the other Guide wire to the turn-signal wire. (We recommend 3M Scotchlok connectors)

#4 We recommend wrapping connections in electrical tape to protect from moisture.

#5 Turn ignition key on. Check marker lights and turn-signals.(DO NOT USE HAZARD LIGHTS TO CHECK)
Warning: Bores Guides DO NOT NEED TO BE GROUNDED! Using the GROUND WIRE on your vehicles light will not allow combination "marker/turn-signal feature to work correctly!
